Maya Buirgy
USISTD Certified Instructor
Maya started dancing from a very early age. She became a professional ballroom instructor at the age of 17, and went on to work and train at one of the most prestigious studios in Colorado. With almost 20 years of professional experience, Maya offers ballroom instruction and ProAm DanceSport training to all of Northern Colorado. She is a certified Instructor and teaches over 30 different partner dances; including American and International Ballroom and Latin, as well as Social, Swing, Country and Salsa dancing.
Maya owns and operates Maya's Ballroom Dance, as well as NoCo Ballroom in North Loveland. She is an American Smooth Rising Star and Open Professional Competitor and has competed with students around the nation as well as in Blackpool, England. From social dancers and wedding couples to DanceSport Competitors, Maya enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for partner dancing. Her goal is to bring the fun, healthy, and useful art of partner dancing back into Northern Colorado!

Jackson Phippen
Jackson began dancing when he was 12 years old when his mom insisted that he take dance classes so that he could meet girls! (Because, as his mom said, “Girls like guys that can dance.”) Instead of meeting any girls that enjoyed dancing, he caught the dancing bug and has been dancing for almost 13 years. Jackson primarily is trained in ballroom dancing and was as a member of Utah Valley University’s Ballroom Tour Team. As a team member, Jackson has participated in several competitions and brought home a national championship and two Blackpool Formation titles in International Ballroom and Latin. Individually, Jackson competitively dances Standard and Smooth styles, but has trained in Latin and had a consistent spot on UVU’s Latin team. Jackson is currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics at Colorado State University and competitively dances Rising Star Smooth with Maya and uses dance as an outlet to destress. He’s very excited to start sharing his talents with the dancers at Maya's Ballroom! |

Zack Tingberg
Latin Salsa & Bachata Specialist Zack Tingberg is a passionate and experienced dance instructor specializing in salsa and bachata. With over three years of teaching experience, Zack has a proven ability to help dancers of all levels find confidence and joy on the dance floor. As an avid social dancer, he brings a deep understanding of connection, musicality, and technique to his classes, ensuring students not only learn the steps but also develop their unique style and confidence. Whether teaching in a group setting, working with couples, or one-on-one, Zack is committed to fostering a welcoming, energetic environment where students can thrive, grow, and enjoy the rhythm of the music. His dedication to helping dancers succeed makes him a standout in the Northern Colorado dance community. |

Jack Armstrong
Jack has been teaching couples dance for over 40 years, holds dozens of championship titles and is a UCWDC Crown Division competitor. He is a 9-time UCWDC Classic Open I Grand Champion in 4 nations, and a 3-Time UCWDC World Champion: 2023 UCWDC Classic Couples Crystal II World Champion 2023 UCWDC Classic Couples Diamond II World Champion 2024 UCWDC Classic Couples Diamond I World Champion Jack and Maya are currently competing on the UCWDC circuit in Crystal I. |

Madison Broussard
Country Swing Dancing and Wedding Specialist Hello, my name is Madison, and I’m a full-time dance instructor based in Northern Colorado. I share my passion for dance through teaching and community connection. I began my dance journey in 2016 where I discovered a deep passion for partner dancing. What began as a fun activity quickly became an emotional outlet and creative expression during challenging times. Through dedication, countless hours of coaching, practice, and a willingness to learn, I developed a unique style by blending techniques from various dance forms together. By 2018 I was driven by the desire to make dance more accessible and inclusive for everyone around me. Over the years, I’ve built connections within a vibrant dance community and gained invaluable experience—not just in movement, but in resilience, creativity, and teaching. I now focus and specialize in social dance styles as well as ballroom dance styles tailored for wedding couples preparing for their first dance! |

Debra Endres
Social Dance and Wedding Dance Specialist With a foundation in professional training and performance from Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Minneapolis, MN, I quickly discovered the joy and connection that partner dancing brings—not just to me, but to others as well. After relocating to Colorado, I expanded my expertise to include Country dances and West Coast Swing, eventually competing and specializing in working with engaged couples to prepare for their wedding day. I find great fulfillment in guiding students as they build confidence, grow as dancers, and experience the joy of movement and connection with others. Helping couples create a meaningful and memorable first dance is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. For me, dance should always be fun, uplifting, and an experience to treasure. |

Corbin McCan
NDCA Registered Instructor Corbin dances with the ladies of our studio at competitions and is a very knowledgeable and engaging instructor. His training and proficiencies include all 4 of the major ballroom dance styles; International Ballroom and Latin, American Smooth and Rhythm. He is registered with the NDCA (National Dance Council of America) as a professional and recognized by the USA Dance Rocky Mountain Chapter as an independent Instructor. |
